The themes of my life include a lifelong pursuit of truth, a significant history of trauma, and years of experience in hearing, holding, and writing stories. God has walked alongside me as my closest friend and companion on a long journey of deep inner work, gradually transforming my brokenness into increasing self-awareness and healing. Now my desire and calling is to be a companion to others on their own journeys back home to their true selves and their authentic stories.

 

After 24 years working as a writer and editor in a marketing career, I know the power of storytelling. As a spiritual director, I offer a sacred space for you to tell your story, to experience the healing power of an empathic witness to your experiences. Beyond that, I seek to help you find meaning, purpose, and hope by seeing the presence and invitations of God in your unique story. I do this through:

 

Presence. Providing deep, compassionate listening without judgment or fixing.

Safe space. Welcoming your true self and your story exactly as they are.

Awakening. Noticing whispers of truth in the life you’re already living.

Discernment. Exploring what your longings mean and how they can inform                                           your choices and decisions.

Life rhythms. Creating intentional space to listen, to feel, to “be” instead of “do.”

 

Wherever you are in your spiritual journey–including feeling doubtful or uncertain–I am honored to offer sacred companionship. I have special interest and experience in the areas of grief, loss, divorce, retirement, and reframing identity in seasons of change. I welcome individuals, couples, or those interested in group spiritual direction.
