My Story
My journey to faith and ministry happened in adulthood. I didn’t grow up in the church, and I know firsthand what it is like to encounter the healing and restorative presence of God after a long search. I walk with directees as they discover their own unique path to God. My greatest joy is for them to experience his deep and abiding love for them.
For me, the practice of spiritual direction is a tool for being in God’s presence. My role as a director is to prayerfully listen alongside the directee for the movement of the Holy Spirit. This includes asking questions and allowing time for silence during sessions. I also incorporate brief readings of scripture to focus our attention on God and to remind us of his nearness. It is truly a privilege to sit with directees and explore what God is doing in their lives.
